I made this doll for a very special friend of mine Judy, I used a bridal dress pattern that is tight fitting and has a long train, I made the dress out of teal satin fabric and cream colored lace. I did gold beading down the front and added gold crystals, the train has crystals with pearl beads surrounding them. The dress is strapless with lace for off the sholder sleeves I added teal crystals to the lace.
For the head peice I used gold beads and did a net type head peice with pearl beads in the center of the netting.
She is wearing a pearl necklace and earrings.
I could not decide what to name her, so I decided to let Judy name her, she said she wanted to call her Terri. Wow what a honor.
I really enjoyed making this doll, it will alway's hold a special place in my heart, it is so much fun making something for someone as special as Judy.
