EX-SPICEGIRL GERI HALLIWELL ON PAY-PER VIEW

Ricky Martin, Shania Twain, Geri Halliwell, and Boyzone were among the artists turning out Sunday night in London for a pop-filled installment of the annual Prince's Trust concert.
The event (saddled with the unfortunate moniker of "Ricky Martin, Shania Twain in Concert for The Prince's Trust Party in the Park '99 with Geri Halliwell and Boyzone") was staged at London's Hyde Park this year. Those who couldn't make it to the U.K. for the show but want to catch the action anyway will be pleased to note that a pay-per-view special is being put together and will air in the States on September 23.

The summer is heating up for the Spice Girls as reports from the UK say the femme fab four will begin working on a follow-up to the mega-selling "Spiceworld." According to a recent report in the British press, the Spice Girls -- Scary, Posh, Sporty and Baby -- will enter a London recording studio in August to lay down tracks for a third full-length album.

This upcoming studio stint marks the return of the British pop darlings who spent most of 1999 working on outside projects. Earlier this year, Mel G. (Scary) and Victoria Adams (Posh) became new mothers. Presently, both Mel G. and Mel C. (Sporty) are in the US recording solo albums.

Last year, the Spice Girls suffered a blow when Geri Halliwell (aka Ginger) quit the group. Since then, the band has released only one new single, "Goodbye." Which led some insiders to speculate a breakup was imminent. But if recent reports prove true, there is no end in sight for the Spice Girls' multimillion-dollar franchise. "A lot of people thought there wouldn't be another album. But there will be a third, and a fourth," a group spokesperson told Megastar news. The album will most likely hit the stores in time for the Christmas season.

In the meantime you can find Mel G. on the soundtrack to Austin Powers: The Spy Who Shagged Me. The video for the cut, which is a cover of Cameo's "Word Up," was choreographed by her husband Jimmy Gulzar and features animated imagery of the Scary One.

David Beckham denied feeling nervous but Victoria Adams admitted to being "a little shaky" as they left the Adams family's Hertfordshire home before their wedding today.
The footballer and the Spice Girl are spending an estimated £500,000 on their wedding celebrations in a huge marquee on the 560-acre Luttrellstown Castle estate, near Dublin.
As Hertfordshire sweltered in the heat yesterday, the driveway at Goff's Oak was filled with as many expensive cars as a Park Lane showroom, and two Louis Vuitton suitcases were strategically placed between two stone lions outside the front door. A van was required to transport the luggage to the airport, carried out of the mock-Tudor house by Miss Adams's parents, younger brother and sister.
The box containing the dress was considerably larger than Miss Adams herself. Then there were golf clubs, an entire set of matching luggage and bulging Asprey's bags. Style-conscious fans would not have been disappointed by the flash of the name Gucci.
