OUR HISTORY
Our band has a dinky history.... Basically, we started out as some dumb twelve year olds who just got guitars and wanted to be cool...you know... play some ramones, throw some green day in there ("rock on"). But then we decided that a lotta that stuff was too easy and didn't need to be regurgitated, and in about a year, give or take a little, we had advanced to a buncha kids who had organized a "band" (nick on guitar, john on bass, dave on drums) and covered op ivy songs. We got better, played at a coupla youth groups for the experience, hung in there, then realized that we had no depth. So,we added a horn section, covered some music with them, then decided that maybe, just maybe, we had something to say, and before ya knew it, we started writing our own stuff. Along the way we picked up another tromboner, and were still workin with a new keyboardist. But then we dropped the trombone and got bobby doin' vocals for us... then picked up sideburns on sax. Everything was cool, we had a buncha shows, but then schedules started conflicting, and priorities got outta whack for a couple band members. Then, it hit us. We weren't playin to have fun anymore, just to play in a band. So, we quit, then some members decided that we had worked too hard just to stop on somethin dumb like this so we got some of the band back together, some new members, wrote some new songs, and got a coupla gigs. Keep your eyes open for the new band, (tentatively called) FIGHTING CHANCE.
