Welcome to the homepage of the Chicken Neck Mess. We are group of like minded individuals who strive to accurately portray the western American Civil War soldier during the period between 1861-1865. We are currently putting the final touches on our western Federal infantry impressions, but we're also working on our western Cornfed infantry impressions. The 2000 season of reenacting, here out west, is going to see a lot of early war and State Guard type stuff, so we are working on those impressions fairly hard as well.
