In a dark alley, a bum was confronted by a group of boys. The boys thought it would be fun to mess with the man. In rage he picked up a bottle and hit one of the boys over the head. The boy died, and as the bum felt the boys dead body in his hands he was intrigued that he had taken a life and decided he wanted to take more.
After that the bum moved to a small town named Springfield in California. He got a job at a plant, and made a glove with four steel claws. Thus he began murdering children with his metal claw.
After a while he was discovered along with all the children he killed in a boiler. He was Freddy Krueger. Although he was arrested the warrant wasn't completely filled out and he was set free.
The town took matters into there own hands and burnt the plant down with Freddy Krueger in it. Three demons approached Krueger and made an offer, immortality for his soul. Krueger agreed and was sent into another world.
It was the dream world, and Krueger continued his kiling from there by killing his victims in his dreams. Freddy has gone after many children over the years and was last stopped by his first main victim a girl named Nancy.
Freddy is not dead however. A new movie will be coming out called Jason vs. Freddy where Freddy fights an equally evil foe. This movie has been delayed ever since the 80's.
