Chapter Five--Kaboom! You're dead.

(-- Author's note: I would have had this chapter up sooner, but I had to restart the computer halfway through writing it. Also, this chapter is taken from nobody's point of view. Enjoy! --)

Isaac sat on his bed shaking. The phone had been dropped on the floor, and was now laying on a pile of clothes. He had been like that since he hung up the phone and heard something explode. Now, he was contemplating the possibility that 'The Whisperer' had been telling the truth.

Mr. Hanson pulled into the driveway. He and Taylor had just gotten back from taking Tay to the doctor. They walked into the house, and immediately, Taylor bounded up the stairs, hoping to get on-line and talk to a friend that he had made the night before.

When Taylor walked into the bedroom that he shared with Isaac and Zac, he noticed Ike sitting on his bed, rocking back and forth, mumbling something.

"Hey Ike! What's up?" he said as he walked over to the computer, about to sit down. Isaac just continued rocking. "Ike? Earth to Ike!" Still nothing. "This is motherbird, calling babybird..."

He walked over and punched Ike in the arm (lightly). Still nothing. Something had to be wrong. Usually, Ike would have him in a head lock by now. he noticed that he was mumbling something about flying monkeys and ostriches.

"Ike! Wake up! What's wrong?"

"Th-the wh-wh-whisperer...I-I ex-explodeded..."

"What are you talking about!? Ike, you're sitting right here, you didn't explode. What the heck is the whisperer??"

"Am I a-a-a os-oscelostr-trich? Wh-what are are you?"

"Ike, this isn't funny anymore. Stop it, you're scaring me!"

Isaac just continued mumbling incoherently. Tay ran down the stairs, calling for his father.
