Part Two

Danielle had called "the trio" and asked them if they wanted to go rollerblading with Jen and her. They agreed, but it would have to be in a couple hours because Dawn had a guitar lesson, Ashley was babysitting, and Elizabeth had to do chores that afternoon. They said that they would come over around 4:30.

"Well, we have 2 and a half hours until they get here. Personally, I don't just want to sit around here 'till 4:30," Danielle stated.

"Yeah, what should we do?" Zac asked as he agreed with Danielle.

"Well, we could go to the hotel and go swimming or something. I think they have an arcade too." Jen offered.

"That sounds good. Let's go!" Tay exclaimed.

"Okay, just let me see if someone can drive us." Danielle said as she started down the stairs.

They had stayed at the hotel for two hours, then they decided to Danielle's house in case "the trio" showed up early. (like that would ever happen)

When Ashley, Dawn, and Elizabeth got there, the three brothers were sitting on the patio behind Dani's house. She and jen were waiting for them on the proch. they had kdecided that they would start skatiing down the street that goes past the patio, and hopefully the other three would follow them.

When they skated past the brothers, Dawn didn't notice them, but Ashley and Elizabeth nearly fell over their wkates when they stopped, very abruptly.

"Hey! I thoght I told you guys to meet us out front?!" Jennifer said, with a 'play along' look on her face.

"Oh, sorry. We...um...forgot..."Zac said jokingly. "Who are they?"

"These are my friends, Ashley, Dawn, and Elizabeth," Danielle said as she motioned to each of them.

"Wh....what's g...going on h...here?" Elizabeth stuttered.

"Remember when Jenifer had to move? Well, she moved to Tulsa, and her family is really good friends with their family," she pointed to the brothers, "and they travel with them a lot."

There was a long silence as the group skated. After about five minutes, someone had to break the silence, so Taylor did.

"Are you guys coming to our concert on Friday?" he asked of Ashley, Dawn, and Elizabeth.

"Umm...well, we couldn't get tickets," Dawn replied, unsure of what would happen.

"I thought you said you had like backstage passes or something..." Danielle said, smirking.

Dawn shot her a 'shut-up-now' look. Dani was laughing, not out loud, but inside she was guffawing.

The rest of the day was total chaos, but the teenagers managed to have fun. They bladed for almost two and a half hours. When they got back to Dani's house, they were exhausted and dying of thirst. "The trio" still looked like they were walking around in a daze. Dani was loving every minute of it. She meets Hanson, AND gets her obsessive friends back, all at the same time! Sweet.

They had been sitting in the living room watching tv for a while, when Danielle decided to ask Dawn, Elizabeth, and Ashley about their "mental connections". They went out onto the porch.

"So, are you still going to insist that you are connected to Hanson? Cause if you are, you're crazier than I thought."

"I don't care what you think. If you don't want to believe us, that's your problem, but I'm not going to lie to you just to make you stop arguing with us about it," Dawn retorted.

"Gee, I wonder what they would say if we asked them if they were going out with you guys. Let alone had mental connections with you..."

"Well, go ahead then. Let's go ask them!" Elizabeth said, but she was thinking: uh oh. what if she really asks them? what if she already said something to them about it? what if...

She snapped out of it when she heard the door to the house open and realized that she was standing there all alone. She rushed inside to find Dawn and Ashley looking mortified, and Ike, Tay, Zac, Dani, and Jen looking like they were all trying not to burst out laughing.

"What's going on?" she asked.

"Well, I thought that Dani having all of those posters in her room was kind of obsessive, but I think you have beat her by a looong long way," Taylor said, half joking, half serious.

At that, Ashley, and Dawn got up, grabbed Elizabeth by the arms, and pulled her out of the house, grabbing all of their skates on the way out the door. They put their skates on in record time, and took off down the street.

Danielle felt kind of guilty for embarassing them so much, but she decided that they would get over it. They deserved it. If nothing else, she hoped it made them realize how stupid their little game was, and how things could blow up in their faces. Jenifer, the brothers, and she watched a movie, then they had to go back to the hotel, so they all said goodbye and made plans to hang out the next day. next
