This is my first Turkish Angora show cat: Grand Premier Antioch Orontes Zildjan of Kica. Thank you to Kit Goodwin (Antioch Cattery) for my "Ozzy".
Many people believe Turkish Angoras are always white--NOT SO! There are many WONDERFUL colors of the Turkish Angora. While the Turkish people believed for many years that the only "pure" Turkish Angoras came in white, we now know that ALL cats are colored cats, and the white just covers up, or "masks", the color of the cat underneath! Turkish Angoras are a pure, natural breed, and come in all colors and patterns EXCEPT pointed (like Siamese), chocolate and lilac, which indicate cross-breeding.
