We are all concerned about this problem. For me, it's particularly vexing because I teach in a lab with Interenet enabled computers. Many kids not rostered in to my classes are trying to crash the door of the lab to get in. They are banging so hard on the locked door that it is impossible for me to teach anything at all. Yesterday, I called three or four times for security during 4th period. Nobody came. At change of classes, the intruder, whom I did not know, entered my lab, sat down and began to use a computer. This situation resulted in an assault on me for which I decided to press charges. Jacob Prosser was arrested, and there is to be a court hearing. This unfortunate event could have been avoided if Fels High School had had an adequate number of security guards on patrol. Does anybody else have feelings on this issue?
