ELCOME TO THE
ORLD IDE EB
IRCLE OF RIENDS
EUNION 2006
EQUEST OR ROPOSALS

Recognize the song? No it is not a broken record it is a fond memory of Reunion 2004 and it is now time to start planning with a focus on the WHO, WHEN and WHERE we will be going in 2006!!

Bigsis Pat is our Reunion Co-ordinator and she is now accepting proposals from members who would be interested in hosting the WWWCOF Reunion. Would you like the World Wide Web Circle of Friends Reunion 2006 to be held in your corner of the globe? Please complete and submit to Pat the following form prior to June 30th, 2005.

She will be setting up a web site to showcase all entries and it would be great if everyone competing for the hosting job would send pictures, brochures, etc. It will be a great help when the voting takes place in July of 2005.

My name is:
My email address is:
I live in and I would love to showcase it to the World Wide Web Circle of Friends.

The best time of the year to hold a reunion in my area would be:

The reason for this is:

Please tell us a bit about your location. Those attending the reunion will be coming by plane, train and automobile so we need to know about major highways and best routes to travel. Are there bus depots and/or train stations close to you? Is there a major airport close by?

What about the accommodations once we get there? Are there lots of reasonably priced hotels/motels in your area? what about lodges, cabins or B & B's? Campgrounds?

What are you local points of interest? Your area's claim to fame? Any festivals, fairs, trade shows, etc. that we would like to take part in?

What is shopping like in the area? Any major shopping centres, craft shops, thrift stores or flea markets?

What theme would you like to propose for this wonderful gathering of friends and why.

We can't wait to hear from you with your proposal and good luck with your entry!

We welcome all comments and suggestions!
There is no I in TEAM - Together Everyone Accomplishes More!

What is difficult we carry out immediately ... the impossible might take a little longer.

Few gatherings are as uplifting, rewarding and worthwhile as reunions. They span generations and strengthen friendships. They provide a sense of identity as hearts and minds unite in a sharing of values.
Happiness is not found at the end of the road, it is experienced along the way.
Your relationships are the legacy you leave to the world.

So my dear friends, never under estimate the power of relationships! We are a group of people with open minds, with a taste for adventure and a willingness to be friends. When we returned from the Duquette's home in Tilbury, Ontario in July, 2004 we had met many new friends, who have now become irreplaceable in each others hearts and we are better people as a result of all the positive things we experienced. The memories will last for generations.

ROCK THIS COUNTRY
<BGSOUND src="http://www.angelfire.com/journal2/wwwcof/Shania.MP3" loop="10"> Written by Twain/Lange

I woke up this morning with a buzz rollin' 'round in my brain
I haven't been drinkin' but it feels pretty good just the same
It must be contagious -- looks like it's goin' around
It's cool once you catch it -- you can't keep your feet on the ground

C'mon, c'mon -- let's get something started
C'mon, c'mon -- let's start something now

We're gonna rock this country
We're gonna rock this country
Every brown-eyed boy -- every blue-eyed girl
Gotta really go psycho -- give it a whirl
We're gonna rock this country
Right out of this world
Ah-oo-na-na-na...

From Utah to Texas, Minnesota, Mississippi too
Or Nevada, no matter where you live -- this buzz is for you

C'mon, c'mon -- let's get something started
C'mon, c'mon -- let's start something now

We're gonna rock this country
We're gonna rock this country
Every brown-eyed boy -- every blue-eyed girl
Gotta really go psycho -- give it a whirl
We're gonna rock this country
Right out of this world
Ah-oo-na-na-na...

Ah-oo-na-na-na...

We're pluggin' in the power
Crankin' up the sound
It's comin' your direction
It's headin' to your town
We're kicking up dust
Blowin' off steam
Let's get nuts now
Everybody scream

We're gonna rock this country
We're gonna rock this country
Every brown-eyed boy -- every blue-eyed girl
Gotta really go psycho -- give it a whirl
We're gonna rock this country
Right out of this world
Ah-oo-na-na-na...

We are the Circle of Friends, made from a chain,
A chain of cable and wire without an end.

There's lots to do and plenty of friends to meet in the Worldwide Circle of Friends! We have people from all over the world who meet, chat and share experiences.

Find out more about us in the site, look at the Message Board and then be sure to join in!

“A ball is a circle. No beginning, no end.
It keeps us together, like our Circle of Friends;
but, the treasure inside, for you to see
is the treasure of friendship you've granted to me.

Today I pass the friendship ball to you. Pass it on to someone who is a friend to you.”

Friendship Road

I've a warm and friendly feeling
As I think of you today,
And I wish that we could visit,
But you're many miles away.

Separated by such distance,
Yet your letters bring you near,
Through the miles we share a friendship
That's become to me most dear.

Friends through correspondence only,
Still your face I need not see,
For your soul shines through the pages
Every time you write to me!

Your special way of writing,
Warming as the sunshine rays,
Brings joy and inspiration,
And brightens up my days.

You've enriched my life, my dear friend,
And I hope God wills we meet,
Friendship's Road is so much nicer
Traveling with one so sweet!

A four leaf clover is rare,
and so is a friend who cares,
so with this token
and no words spoken
I offer my friendship to share
- By Tammy Pottruff!

What did I do today?
I sat in my room and talked to my friends!
And this is where my day begins
We talked about crafting, recipes too,
About how were happy, sad or feeling blue
We give each other hugs, we smile and we cry
Show our photos of family here and gone by
We answer questions on this and on that
And it doesn’t matter where each of us sat
For were all in the same room
Huddled together
And for this we’ll remain friends forever
So when your alone wondering what you can do
Come to our room, meet friends like me and you
The WWWCOF are waiting, come join us we say
Then you too can answer What did I do today?
