The things in this little book have been collected up over several years from various sources. Many of the things are "tried and tested", even passed down from generation (old wives tales if you like), and most are based on some solid fundamentals.
The original really was a little black book, started way before home computers and Internet, where snippets of useful information were stored from magazines, hear say and other sources, with a sort of index at the end.
With the coming of the computer age, I started putting the things in order about the time that little book was bulging with slips of paper and cutouts screaming out for a second volume to be started.
I am hosting Reunion 2008 for the World Wide Web Circle of Friends Reunion in October, 2008 and I hope you will help me by buying a copy of Daphne's Little Black Book. I think whoever reads this little book -- more to have on hand for reference rather than reading - finds something useful, amusing, unbelievable or just plain interesting.
Within its pages (in both English and Spanish) you will find cures for stains, homemade deodorants, secrets of lemons, sixty uses for salt, uses for coffee, herbal remedies, how to get rid of mosquitos, beauty tips, flowers and their meanings, gems and their meanings and astrological chart and so much more.
The cost of this publication is $7.50 (US $) per book plus the cost of postage, for example rates to North America are - Single copies - $8.50 US/Two copies - $8.50 US/ Five copies - $16.00 US

We are the Circle of Friends, made from a chain,
A chain of cable and wire without an end.
There's lots to do and plenty of friends to meet in the Worldwide Circle of Friends! We have people from all over the world who meet, chat and share experiences.

“A ball is a circle. No beginning, no end.
It keeps us together, like our Circle of Friends;
but, the treasure inside, for you to see
is the treasure of friendship you've granted to me.
Today I pass the friendship ball to you. Pass it on to someone who is a friend to you.”

A warm welcome from Daphne,
