I started this group because I have long felt that singles are an overlooked area for ministry in a lot of churches. I know that many churches have singles groups, but there still seems to be a large unmet need for support among christian singles.
I decided to make this group for christian women only because I wanted to avoid the pressure or tendency there is among mixed-sex singles to pair-up. Besides, let's face it ladies, we tend to be much more honest and open when its just us! :-) I want this group to be a place where we can share our triumphs, struggles or whatever is on our hearts freely, be it related to being single or our christian walk in general.
