Hi! Thanks for stopping by my homepage! My name is Mary Jo and I am a 29 year old, single, born-again christian. I created this page to tell people about my faith and a little about who I am.
I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God,
fully God and fully man. I believe He died on the cross for my sins and the sins of the world and rose again on the third day! I believe Jesus is the only way to God the Father and through Him we can have forgiveness of sins and eternal life. All we need to do is ask Jesus into our heart to be our Lord and Savior! You can pray a prayer like this:
Dear Jesus, I know I am a sinner. I believe you are the Son of God and died on the cross for my sins and rose again on the third day. Please come into my heart and be my Lord and my Savior and forgive all my sins. Please help me to live for you all the days of my life. Amen.

Well, as you read earlier, I am Mary Jo and I created this page. I have been a christian for over ten years and have been an internet user for the past six years. I have found that this is a great place to connect with other christians that you would never meet otherwise!
I have started two online groups for christians, Single Roses for single christian women and Healing Wounded Hearts for christians struggling with depression and other emotional issues. The links below will give you more information about the groups and about me and why I started them!
Single Roses is a group I started because I felt single christian women needed a place of support and fellowship. I particularly wanted it to be a place where they could be free to share openly without the added pressures that sometimes exist in a mixed-sex singles setting. This is a group for christian women from all walks of life. The members of ROS are some of the most wonderful christian women you will ever meet! We pray for one another, support one another and have a lot of fun in the process! This group is an offshoot of The Roses of Sharon. It is for ROS members who are overweight and looking for support as they try to shed those excess pounds, or for members who want to accept themselves as they are.
