Commander Kenneth E. Grant, CD, RCN was among the 118 persons killed in
the crash of TCA Flight 831 at Ste. Therese, Quebec.
At the time of his death, Cdr Grant was Staff Officer Sea Cadets,
Headquarters, Commanding Officer Naval Divisions,
The
final Commanding Officer’s Challenge Trophies were awarded as follows:
Most Proficient Division: Micmac DPO PO2 Richard Elger
Most Proficient Cadet: L/C Douglas Payne

All
equipment was packed away and returned to the Department of National Defence.
ROYAL CANADIAN SEA CADET CORPS FORT LENNOX was “Decommissioned”, “Paid Off”, “Disbanded”, “Shut Down”, “Terminated”, or what ever other sad comment one might want to make!
