Koreans were quick to forge a bizzarre connection between 9/11 and the disqualification of Korean short track speed skater Kim Dong-song at the Olympics. Korean newspapers referred to it as "Olympic medal terrorism." Glee over the tragedy of 9/11 was barely below the surface in South Korea and all it took was a controversial call at the Olympics to bring it out with guns blazing. |
