Can you see
What it is you mean to me?
Everything is for you.
So you will never be blue.
I think of you when I wake.
Of all the times we have been swimming in the lake.
“We’re too young,” people yell.
“I love him,” is what I tell.
I think that if our hearts are pure.
Then all our aches will have their cure.
We now stand against the world holding hands.
And all I can hear is our band.
Why can’t you see how much you mean to me?
Open your eyes to see.
I love you; I truly do.
