Unsatisfied
They gave me
A unsatisfying reason
For an agonizing crusade
Left barren by my beliefs
Trampled happily by the cavalcade
And the heroes make their confrontations
And a different maneuver is key
But the cries never change
It’s all the same
The chant of rivalry

When will the blood stop bleeding?
When will their castles fall?
They don’t seem to be receding
And nobody cares at all

They gave me
An unsatisfying verdict
To an agonizing trial
Left hanging by my hopes
Softly singing down the isle
And the law reports its accusations
Different fingers point crazily
But the shouts never change
It’s all the same
The chant of guilty

When will the fingers stop pointing?
When will their castles fall?
They don’t seem to be receding
And nobody cares at all

They gave me
An unsatisfying ending
To an agonizing song
Left strangled by my dreams
Sweet misery holds on
And the radio plays its variations
To a different melody
But the words never change
It’s all the same
The chant of unholy

When will the song stop singing?
When will their castles fall?
They don’t seem to be receding
And nobody cares at all

They gave me
An unsatisfying answer
To an agonizing question
Left beaten by my ambitions
Painfully welcome disconnection
And magazines publish their new creations
For a different world to see
But the taunts never change
It’s all the same
The chant of misery

When will the circle stop spinning?
When will their castles fall?
They don’t seem to be receding
And nobody cares at all

They gave me
An unsatisfying return
To an agonizing investment
Left empty handed by my ideals
The last betraying testament
And the news broadcasts its confirmations
Filming the new debris
But the screams never change
It’s all the same
The chant of casualty

When will the thieves stop stealing?
When will their castles fall?
They don’t seem to be receding
And nobody cares at all
