It's taken 28 years, but I've finally realized why there are so many lawyer jokes. I'm having to deal with two of the world's worst. Our lawyer is lazy and the other lawyer is holding our money for interest. So, okay, we're selling our apartment to move back to America. Everything should have closed well over a month ago. We still don't have our check. We're down over 3000 euro just in exchange rates alone. That's not counting mortgage payments and interest and car payments and interest. I can't wait to get home so I don't have to put up with all this Irish crap anymore. I've fallen totally and completely out of love with Ireland. Anyway, Sean called our lawyer again yesterday and the secretary told him that our lawyer received a letter from the buyer's lawyer, so Sean told her to have our lawyer call him back. He never did. I really hate these lawyers.

We got really bored last night because we're down to three channels on tv, so we went to the movies. We saw Lord of War starring Nicholas Cage, Ethan Hawke, and Jared Leto. I didn't expect to like it at all, but I loved it. It was a weird mix of comedy and tragedy and it had me pulling for the bad guy. And he really was a bad guy. Strange, huh?
