PS. 23; The Lord is my Shepherd, I shall not want. He makes me lie down in green pastures;
He leads me beside still waters; He restores my soul. He leads me in right paths for his
name's sake. Even though I walk through the darkest valley, I fear no evil; for you are
with me; your rod and your staff--they comfort me. You prepare a table before me in
the presence of my enemies; you anoint my head with oil; my cup over flows. Surely
goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life, and I shall dwell in the
house of the Lord my whole life long.

Prayer: Dearest Shepherd, walk with us now through these dark times. Comfort,
restore, and pursue us with your goodness. Give us the confidence and comfort of
knowing that our loved one will dwell in your house forever.

I know that mom is at peace now. That her spirit is free and that
she is with Dad (the only person she ever really wanted to be with)
and they are happy together and free in a place where there is no
fear, no pain, and no worry. I know (because she told me recently)
that she believed in God and she believed that she would be with Dad and
Tony and all the others that she loved who had gone before her. I know
she is at peace and I take comfort in that. I will miss "my mom" and my
heart will ache for the loss, but I feel happy for her joy and that she is
finally at rest in the arms of the one who loved her the most.

Rejoice
When you see an orchid rejoice and think of me.
When you see a sunset, rejoice and think of me.
When you cast your line into the water, rejoice
and think of me.
When you pull the quilt over you for warmth, rejoice
and think of me.
When you eat See's Chocolates, rejoice and think of me.
When you think your body is to old to do something new,
rejoice and think of me.
When you think you just can't go on another minute,
rejoice and think of me.
When you see the sun come up over the camp fire and smell
the coffee on the flame, rejoice and think of me.
When your heart feels lonely for the one you loved the most,
rejoice and think of me.
