power point slides. Minimum of 10 Slides

also include a picture of the drug.

- Summary Slides
Each partner must make a slide where they explain what you have
learned, how has this information helped you and how you can use
what you have learned in life. You can use the format: I
know
I learned
I wonder
I have
rediscovered
- Interview or Real Life
Story: Extra Credit Try to include a real account of someone
who has been affected using the drug you researched. Include who
was involved, tell the circumstances, consequences and outcome of
the story. This can come from the Internet, TV show, magazine
article, Channel One, or personal interview etc. If you interview
someone: No names, include the questions you asked and their
answers.
- Bibliography Slide
Use at least 3 resources List the websites you used;
Encyclopedias, Library books, brochures, CD-ROM or magazines
articles.
- Decorate your
presentation using your own color combinations or using one of
the design templates. All slides should have the same design. You
want your audience to listen to what you have to say, not try to
guess what color combination or noise you have next!
- You may animate
the text and pictures on each slide.
- NO MORE THAN ONE
SOUND PER SLIDE!!! DO NOT HAVE EACH WORD OR LETTER COME IN
USING "TYPEWRITER" (sounds like a machine gun and very
annoying!)
Effective Presentation
Tips: Be prepared to speak about each slide. may have note cards.
You want to say more about each slide than what is printed on it. The
slide is a tool or a background for what you have to say. List the
main ideas on slides and then give the supporting details
orally.
You will turn in a written
copy of your "main ideas" and "supporting details" (Use note cards )
Each notecard should be labeled with the title of the slide and slide
number.
