Peter worked bran and "after-flour" at Richmond. Mask arrived.

Hauled roosters to Altmann. Plowed. Math picked 1 pail of plums. Hauled pig-manure into field.
September 5, 1903
Plowed the whole day.
September 6, 1903
Rained. Nobody of us except Peter attended High Mass. None of us attended Vespers.
September 7, 1903
Washed. Plowed. Butchered a hog. Mike bucker was here; Waldmann tore his hat.
September 8, 1903
Father, Math & I worked Cry. business. Peter & John plowed. In the afternoon I took timothy at John Garding. I also asked for rye at Senart and tore bicycle chain. Peter took rye at Senart. Father and Peter cleaned timothy at Dan. Rained in the morning and Desire & Gostene Senart and Mr. & Mrs. Krebsbach were here. In the evening Nick Blonigen with one on his ear and Desire & Gostene Senart were here talking about threshing. Nick Blonigen stayed until 11 o’clock.
