Research Summary

My research focuses on production planning and inventory control under demand uncertainty.  My current work deals
with problems in which the demand process is non-stationary and information about this process is gathered over
time to estimate its distribution.  I am also interested in production and inventory planning in the context of
supply chains. I like emerging areas like Knowledge Management, CRM, Corporate Governance, e-Governance, Value chain management etc.

First a Quote

"Nothing in the world  can take the place of  persistence.

Talent will not; nothing is more common than unsuccessful men with talent.

Genius will not; unrewarded genius is almost a proverb.

Education will not; the world is full of educated derelicts.

Persistence and determination alone are omnipotent."

                                                                                         -- Calvin Coolidge

Another Quote

"Yesterday is a canceled check: Forget it.

Tomorrow is a promissory note: Don't count on it.

Today is ready cash: Use it!."
