Welcome to the
'Poems Galore!' homepage. So far I have written 60+ poems some of
which are displayed on the following pages. The poems are a
mixture of thoughtful and amusing, and some suitable for
children. Several have won competitions or have been published in
various magazines and anthologies. My own favourite poems are:
'The Lady Of Shalott' by Alfred Lord Tennyson, 'Goblin Market' by
Christina Rossetti and 'Childe Roland' by Robert Browning. Other
poets whose work I enjoy are Louis MacNeice, Sara Teasdale and Dylan Thomas.
All the poems on the following pages are copyright and must not
be altered or used for any financial gain in any way. All unaccredited poems are my own, the others are reproduced by kind
permission from the authors who retain the
copyright to their own work.
Please treat this site as you would a book, the contents list
consists of links to individual poems .
