The vision of The Family Worship Center is according to Isaiah 61:1-3 which is as follows: “The spirit of the Lord God is upon me; because the Lord hath anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek; he hath sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to them that are bound; To proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord, and the day of vengeance of our God; to comfort all that mourn; To appoint unto them that mourn in Zion, to give unto them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; that they might be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the Lord, that he might be glorified.” Wounds from Christians are the worst kind. Look around you, and see how many Christians stay out of church because of wounds by their brothers and sisters. Look around again, and see how many ministers have left their offices because of what the church has done to them. This is a serious issue that we need to address today in the body of Christ. The vision at The Family Worship Center is to see healing come to the wounded in the Body of Christ, get them back on the battlefield, and preach the gospel of salvation to the lost. We are committed to preaching the gospel of salvation as well as proclaiming that God is the friend that sticketh closer than a brother (Proverbs 18:24).
