"Have we not all one Father? Did not one God create us? Why do we profane the covenant of our fathers by breaking faith with one another?" - Malachi 2:10

"So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them." - Genesis 1:27

"For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother's womb. I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well." - Psalms 139:13-14

*I know I'm not perfect... in fact I'm far from it... but I'm trying. I try to be the person I should be and follow the example of the Christians around me... but there's one thing that's always baffled me. As long as I've been alive I've never understood the hate we show each other. Maybe I just look at things differently because I lost a friend to suicide. I think of it everyday of my life... I mean, someone wonderful... this amazing kid didn't live to see his 16th birthday. Why? Because of kids who thought they were better than everyone else... kids who thought they were funny because they could pick on someone like him...

"A new commandment I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another." - John 13:34

I don't mean to preach... I'm in no position to do that... this is just something that has been on my heart lately. You honestly DON'T know what someone may be going through... be the person who brings them back from the ledge, not the one who pushes them over.
