Welcome to Valley University
As you know Valley University launched our online education option in the spring of 2002 to keep current with educational trends. The university’s reputation and success has based on specialization of educating working adults.
To improve our online programs, Valley University has hired a team of distance education consultants from GLT Inc. With your input GLT has revealed that one of the challenges Valley University had with the new online programs was that faculty and students were familiar with web technology but felt insecure in an online class.
With the help of GLT Inc., Valley University decided to incorporate a Web site to provide support and resources for our distance education faculty. By focusing on the faculty first, the school will be able to build a strong foundation for the online programs.
YOUR new site includes an Introduction to Teaching Online page, a Web Teaching Resources page to help instructors adapt to the online delivery method, and some tools for Creating your Own Web page.
