Stupid
letter I had to give to the stupid mayor for stupid school.
(senders
home address and phone number has been omitted, didn't want
to make my murder to easy can I? PH? Tommy? And all the rest)
Honorable
Mayor Michael Bloomberg
City Hall, Office Mayor
New York, New York-10007
Dear Mayor Michael Bloomberg,
Before
I start of with my complaints on how you're handling the seat
as a mayor (which you paid very handsomely for in ads), I
would like to point out that my grammar isn't very good (public
schools are more dedicated to teaching you how to do oral
and anal), I am highly sarcastic conservative and my English
teacher made the class write letters to you about not cutting
back the library budget (a subject that even I don't care
about, but we will get back to that later), why should we
waste our school time, and private time writing a letter that
at best only your secretaries and staff will read, so excuse
me when I say that public education is B.S (I think you can
figure out what it means).
And
you probably know it is, you checked out all the polls and
test averages, they're are a high percentage of people who
aren't at reading level (or illiterate) and a even higher
percentage not in math level in NYC alone. And the only thing
I see the city doing is either, add more harder materials
in citywide standardized tests and give more money to incompetent
staffs at schools (sure there are some good ones out there,
but the environment wont let them teach properly or them to
be "politically correct"), and the last time I checked
the city's budget in public education is in the billions (as
Reagan used to say "billion with a b" or whatever)
or high hundreds, sure you have millions of kids to account
for (thankfully, a good number of them are dropping out!),
but I was hoping you could actually use that business savvy
and actually see where the cash is going (then again I thought
you were a Republican mayor, you are turning into a Democrat
by every day, blah) --- though I guess it's not your problem
since its not really your money.
I will
have to give you some benefit of the doubt; NYC (and the whole
USA) faced its worst attack since Pearl Harbor, and you have
been working hard on protecting the city and its people, and
I wont forgot the fact that you trying not to make the budget
problem to a crises to downright Hell, and there's more of
a threat from terrorists than dumb kids (only marginally)
so here is a nice and simple word that can help you get rid
of this pesky education problem, vouchers.
It's
a word no liberal wants to hear, and lets not even talk about
the teachers union, which is so against the poor inner-city
kids going to private school, why? Because they know that
it works, I bet you went to a private school yourself, would
you be as big as you are if you didn't? America (last time
I checked) was all about capitalism, put that in a education
environment, with government spending as an incentive, schools
will work more on academics than sex ed and political correctness
(these sex-ed teachers are like evolution teachers who only
believe in Adam & Eve), some other states did it, and
it worked. Put in an environment like NYC, and guess what?
We will have fewer kids who have no hope and resort to violence
and drugs.
Though
I guess you probably wont do it, you'll lose support and the
NYTIMES (the old gray lady), the liberals (the richer liberal
however, send their kids to private schools, isnt that funny?)
will be against you, though I guess you would rather piss
of the people with common sense (tell me, why spend so much
time with banning smoking? I have asthma and if I had some
knowledge I would stay away from bars or places that allow
smoking, most businesses and public places don't allow it,
what's wrong with letting the bars do it?), well thanks for
"reading the letter", even if its one of your secretaries.
(And
since not cutting the libraries budget was suppose to be one
of the main points in the letter, I'll just say cut back on
the videos and CDs, and order more books! Yeah, I know I didn't
think that one out very well)
PS:
Write back to my address if you want to, just don't add me
to any mailing lists, wasn't the Clinton/Gore ones intrusive
enough?
Sincerely
Khaled
