I'm sure I'm not the only one that agrees that this place is the best! Anyway, I'll tell you somestuff about Lakeshore. It's a cabin community in Kelowna, and my Dad and I go there every year for a two week vacation. This year I'm going to take a bunch of pictures and put them on the site, so keep checking back here. Of course, I'm not the only one that goes there. My best friend, Sarah, and her family live in Westbank, which is right on the outskirts of Kelowna. They come out to our cabin every year. I can't even begin to describe how fun it is there. The only problem is the 8 hour drive there from Calgary. I tell you, it drives me nuts, I mean absolutly NUTS having to wait to get there. But then again, good things come to those who wait. |
Although the 8 hour drive is long, boring and tiring, it's all worth it when we get there. Our cabin, #14, is one of the bigger cabins that Lakeshore has to offer. It's right in front of the lake, so you can see the lake when you look out the window.
But it was all worth it, Monster Island was the best vacation I've ever had. Being able to walk up to a 20 foot high bug was just about the coolest thing in the world. I thought the giant ape and other "Monsters" on the island would be in cages, or inaccessible, but tare quite friendly and accessible.
