Yes i must say i need to rant and rave on so many things going on in the lovely US of A. First off. Is America really the land of the free? Or better yet is it the land of the voyeuristic, paranoid, and homophobic?
Our government has now decided to make a law prohibiting homosexual marriages. This is because it is 'unnatural'. But what is unnatural? We honestly have no way of know just what is natural or unnatural for us.
Our government considers homosexuality 'unnatural' because it goes against the teachings of the bible. Mind you during the witch hunts of England the bible was revised to suit their needs.
What about the people who do not worship 'God'? Do they have a say in what happens?
Why should your normal heterosexual person be allowed to express their love to their significant other when a homosexual cannot? What does gender have to do with it anyways?
So many questions yet not many answers.
In all truth and honesty it is unfair to make one person suffer because they do not follow what someone else does. That's discrimination. In America everyone is supposed to be equal and free. We're not free anymore.
They say once you get over the age of 18 you have all the rights and freedoms that your elders have. What rights and freedoms? I think they mean prohibitions.
