Crazy Times
Ok so first and foremost, you have to read Karen's post for the last entry because it's hilarious! (Ok for all you lazy people, it says "I LOVE U of M BASEBALL!) Of course, they did lose really bad to Minnesota last night, but they're not going home just yet. They play Ohio State and hopefully Minnesota again. We'll see how that goes.

So, now for the fun part. So me and Karen went out last night to cause some trouble. First, we almost go North on 1-75...oops! But luckily we figured it out and headed south. Then, Karen took the Bridge instead of the tunnel, although I didn't know she wanted to take the tunnel. I just figured she wanted to take the bridge. That was my fault. So we get there and walk around the casino for a while but we were too scared to gamble any money. Even though Karen said her palms were itching today and that meant she was going to win money.
After walking around a little bit, we decide to visit Dave at the Treehouse. So we did and the place is pretty crowded. But! Dave saw us and he was so happy to see Karen. (soo exciting) and of course he bought us something to drink because he's nice like that. And he told the bartender, Tracey, to take good care of us. Ok, so then this one guy comes up to us and introduces himself as Scott. Me and Karen look at each other and say "don't think so." Too many Scotts in her life right now. (you have to realize the name is very important.) Oh, and then this really creepy guy like takes Karen aside and tells her that they should hook up and he gives her his number and he's like "call me. Bring your girls. We'll hook up." Umm...I don't think so. We gracefully get away from him only to be approached by another set of guys from Cleveland. They were nice except the one guy looked like Meagan's ex-boyfriend Jeremy a LOT and that was really freaky. (especially after the last Canada trip!) Anyway, one of his friends was wearing a pink moose shirt so obviously we had to talk to him. They were fun but they left to go to a different bar, so we said goodbye. But we are grateful to them for saving us from these two really creepy guys who were, well, really creepy!!
Then we see this really cute guy walk in wearing a Tigers hat and I swear he looks like he plays baseball or something and me and Karen are in love. But then this witchy girl turns out to be with him and we decide it's better not to have some fun with him, even if he is really cute. But it's ok! In the meantime, we meet Jim (who was also wearing a Tigers hat) and he was soo nice. He goes to school at UMiss (and I have to say I was out of it, when he said he lived in Jackson, Mississippi I actually asked where he went to school and he looked at me like I was crazy. Sorry!) Anyway, he was so nice and then he walked away and we were by ourselves again (pretty much in the same place we always are...) and he comes back with his friend Tim. Tim plays hockey and me and Karen laughed and were excited. So we were talking to them and Jim says "we need to buy these two ladies a drink" but they don't take credit cards so they had to search for canadian money. When we offered to pay they got really mad and said "that's not how southerners do things. It's all about Southern Hospitality. Girls never buy guys drinks." So we had to back down but they were so cute!
So we talked to them for the rest of the evening, but then we had to get home (although I was about 5 minutes late, I didn't get yelled at...yet.) So we said goodbye and they were so sweet and we walked back to the car. Karen thought maybe Jim was her soulmate and she was mad that we didn't get phone numbers even though they live so far away. But then again, Karen and Jim? That doesn't really work too well. Even though he was a sweetie. Oh, and he doesn't play baseball. So we get to customs and the line is soo long, we're like what the hell? There's a lot of strange people, including the sunbird next to us with the guys who were un-friendly in the elevator at the casino. Anyway, it's almost our turn when this guy rolls down his window and starts yelling at me.
"Where you from?"
"Troy and Rochester Hills. Where are you from?"
"Chesterfield."
I turn to Karen. Who do we know in Chesterfield? (we know someone, I swear.) She says we had a cheerleading competition there.
So he tells us to go hang out with him and we're like "we have to get home." But he looks really familiar. I say, wait. remember that Nick kid? didn't he live in Chesterfield? so Karen says "What's your name?"
"Nick." We almost die laughing because that was Shannon's stalker friend who called her like EVERYDAY for two weeks! So we take down his number to see if it's him and say we'll call him when we get through customs.
Then we drive home.

What a successfully fun night! Can't wait for next week!
