Welcome to my webpage! Allow me to introduce myself; I am John Carroll, I will be a senior in the Colombian College of Arts and Sciences at The George Washington University in Washington DC majoring in American History. I am living at home for the summer, but will be living in 1957 E St (GWU doesn't name buildings until a rich benefactor gives them a lot of money), across the street from the State Department and The Fed (where the Federal Reserve Board meets), and about a 10 minute walk to the White House. I graduated from Chaparral High School in Temecula California in June 2001. I was in the first four year graduating class of CHS. This page is really created for my friends and family to know how I'm doing. If you have a question for me about DC, or would like me to post a certain picture on the web of DC, just email me. I've posted some pictures from my junior year, but with a digital camera there are always more pictures to be posted. I always told my mom the reason I didn't take many pictures was because they are permanent, but with a digital camera, I can take as many pictures as I want, and delete the bad ones. I've got many pictures I would like to post; of friends, of Janel, the Texas flag I made for her for our one month anniversary, the conference in Louisville (and all the pictures that followed it), countless pictures of the US Capitol bldg, and when I finally get to go, pictures from the Dome Tour led by Congressman Darrell Issa. Currently I'm trying to figure out if I can just post pictures in a power point file and have you download those (it certainly would be much easier on all of us if you don't have to go to a new webpage for each individual picture). Oh by the way, as many of you many know, a goal of mine has been to finish the entire Bible (Genesis to Revelation) before I graduate in May 2005; I finally got to Jeremiah (yes that does mean I finished Leviticus and Deuteronomy, though it took me about a year), so I'm happy to know I'm over half way to my goal (though since I've got less than 2 years to graduate, I need to pick up the pace to stay on track).
