The War in Iraqi
Why are we fighting?
We entered the war because of an emotional backlash from 9/11. We were told by the president and all his men that Sadam possessed WMD. We were told that invading Iraq would make America safer.
Number 1...Not one of the 9/11 terrorists were Iraqi..15 had Saudi passports...
Number 2...No WMD have been found even thou President Bush said he knew right where to find them...
Number 3...Most of the people we are fighting are from someplace other than Iraq. Most of these people are coming for only one reason, because America attacked and is occupying an Isamic nation. Sadam did not have the power to unit our enimies but now he's a martor for those who do. Bin Laden told the world we were going to attack Iraq and we did, This gave Bin Laden, our true enimy, a new believiblity he didn't have. He can use that to get new recruits.
Winning the war was never a problem for us unless the President was lying. Bush's lies are costing lives and America it's word. Because of Bush's war noone will believe us or help us when we need them. This war is about the oil and the president's fanatical religous beliefs. The best of America is being wasted while a deserter and his friends get richer.
I am a Vietnam veteran and don't want to see anymore young men pay for the mistakes of a lying politican.
