ABB--Anybody But Bush
This blog aims to counter the daily harangue from Mush Bimbaugh and the Hanitty kid.
The author believes in the USA and its freedoms and has a vision of what is right for our country. It is a moderate vision, more to the middle than either the right or left. The author is convinced that the GW Bush presidency will go down in history as the most political in history. By political, the author means the Bush presidency is in business for one reason only, and that is to allow the big oil companies, big corporations and elite upper class control the country. GW Bush is president in name only. The real power in DC is VP Dick Cheney and his cronies. GW hasn't had an original thought since his brother and the Supreme Court elected him.
The Bush administration has the distinction of ruining Social Security and Medicare (Greenspan says its OK to cut retirement benefits).
GWB has run up one of the largest deficits in the nation's history and his record is even worse when you consider his term started with a very large surplus.
Dubyah is still looking for the weapons of mass destruction and now even the U.N. has said there never were any and hasn't been since 1994.
One thing Dubyah and others in his group don't realize that terrorism is a dead horse for most Americans. The further we get from 9-11, the less it is a major issue. It is history, not news and all the scare tactics in the world by Dubyah and Friends aren't going to make it a major campaign issue.
Dubyah's cronies have already started beating one drum--We will capture Bin Laden. If it happens, it will be just before the November election in hopes of giving the Bush candidacy a boost.
Tax breaks for the rich and blank checks for Big Oil, Big Pharmacuticals and Big Corporations--that's the Bush legacy.
What has Dubyah done for the average working American? More than likely the "working" American is in danger of seeing his job go overseas.
Dubyah's tax cuts help the rich more than you and I.
Ever wonder why the radio talk shows back Dubyah? Call Bimbaugh, Hannitty, Boortz, Ron Reagan and others up on the air and ask them what their annual salary is. If they tell you, you can bet it's one H--- of a lot more than you make.
The energy crisis could be solved if Dubyah could capture all the hot air that spews forth every day on conservative talk shows.
