The book of ghostly tales
This book has stories told to the author about people in the western counties of NC who have seen, felt, heard or otherwise experienced a ghostly contact. Many of the stories are written just as they were told to the author in the teller's own words.
This book is still in the process of being published. It is not yet available but we will let you know as soon as it is ready.
The author is fascinated with the paranormal and intends to write another book of mountain tales. If you have ever lived or worked in a haunted area or have had an experience with ghost, Let us know at highlandplantation@yahoo.com
About the author
Mrs. Okamoto lives in a small town in western NC. She has a cat names Katie. Her Highland plantation is actually a 6 room house on Highland Avenue in the town where she lives. She is 50 years old, has a BA in Psychology, and works with children who have been abused and have behavioral problems. She loves to listen to 50's and 60's songs and loves old movies, specially romance movies. Her favorite author is John Grissom and Nicholas Sparks.
