Once again, we were found. Once again, we moved. Once again, we change.
First, I feel I must explain a bit. I can not tell you much, but I will do my best to explain with what little I can say. My birth name really was Jacqueline Marisa, I can not tell you my last name. I was born in 1969. Growing up in a military family, I moved a lot and when I got accepted to Columbia for journalism I decided that I would like to plant myself right there in the Big Apple, finally, a place to put out roots, a place to call home.
I met Joey Gotti while in my 3rd year and my life changed. Near the end of my relationship with Joey, I saw something I never should have seen, and soon I was subpeonaed as a material witness. I could not, did not want to testify. During the investigation, I had met the man who would soon become my husband. Unfortunately, my expected appearance at the upcoming trial put his life, as well as my own in danger. We married two weeks before my testimony. One week after my day in court, I was shot at from a moving vehicle in Greenwich Village, near my apartment. Luckily they missed. Word came to us that there was a hit out on both me and my new husband. We, with the help of law enforcement, disappeared that night.
Over the years, we have had to assume several names. With the internet popular now, it is easier to search for names, and I am afraid that we may have inadvertantly caused the harrassment of innocent people, by having the same or similar names to their own. This is where the apology comes in...I would like to apologize to certain people whom I believe have been harrassed or threatened by people from a chat room, people who law enforcement believes may be connected to the people who we had to be hidden from 15 years ago now.
