Sat. June 7th
Whilst driving to Gallup, we stopped at 2 casinos. One in Oklahoma, I won 15 bones, w00t. Then in new mexico I won 50. w00t time 2. heh my dad lost like 80 bucks. Anyway. Got to Gallup and played a little basketball. Later me and my cousin Jr. went bumping around gallup, then we see a bunch of police cars at a gas station taped off and stuff, then another area taped off like a block away, so my edumacated guess would be a robbery, then d00d tried to run and go bitchslapped a block down. so the first day was starting the vacation right :D
Sun. June 8th
Not much happening here. Played some more Final Fantasy... later went to the park to play more basketball. Plenty of young'ns to gawk at. ah how sweet it is to be 21 in a land of 15 year olds...
Mon. June 9th
Went to my aunt elsa's for my grandma's birthday. Finally got some brew in me. took long enough. If there's anything better than your mom and/or dad getting you beer, I don't wanna know about it. Later me and me cousins went to play some homerun derby. At first I was doing poor, because I'm used to 80mph pitches and not just being lobbed in, but soon I got my bearings and belted 3 out like a mofo. it was a decent sized field too. if the balls were pitched faster, i could be belting them out of major league stadiums :D... maybe. I think I could. I'm pretty l33t at the batting. Once it started getting dark we went back to aunt's house, then went back to grandma's to play some more basketball. At this point my feet are killing me because my stupid shoes aren't really the best for sports and such. They're more like... boots... kind of.
Tues. June 10th
Parents went to the casino to poop away more money they could use for things like a carwash or more things for me to play with. Went to this pizza place for meal and then more basketball yay. This time joining me and my cousins were two young'ns, whose names I didn't catch until like... a week later. heh. Dominique and Desiree. Both like 14 probably. Dominique was just now going to 9th grade so yeah. great. so those two were pretty much the first non-relative people I interacted with in new mexico like... ever. it's always just been relatives.
Wed. June 11th
Went to the mall to get some actual shoes to play basketball in. Stupid mall. instead of looking for shoes and getting them in 15, we had to ask the shoe stores if they had any size 15 at all. one had like 2 pairs, another had like 5... so because of the limited market, I had to drop like 100 bones into a pair because... well they were like the cheapest ones. Actually my mom dropped 100 into them. I still gotta give her some munny to cover it. Went to the park again with cousin drew buddy, and saw the 2 young'ns from yesterday again. so young... and somehow I ended up with the nickname Rainbow that pretty much stuck the rest of the time I was down there. Everytime I went to the park after that, if they were there they start yelling out rainbow and stuff. don't ask me. Later they were calling me Bi because they said I like rainbows... which kind of confused me because they're the ones calling me that, so apparently I guess I like rainbows now or something.... anyway. stupid 14 year olds. geh.
Thur. June 12th
Got up all early and sh*t to go lift some weights with my cousins drew and mari. Ah it felt good to do that again. I hadn't lifted weights since my junior year in high school. I had to borrow one of andrew's gym shorts and the stupid thing was knotted so it took me like 20 minutes in the bathroom trying to get the knot out. stupid thing. bah. left feeling pretty good. a little sore. not as sore as I'd like to have been. of course I didn't have a large football coach there yelling at everyone to lift more. so I guess I lacked the motivation. I felt like a namby pamby wussy little fruitbat because I could only bench like 179. eek. 3 years ago I was doing like 215... still not all that much but man. I got weak. oh well.

I was glad to see the Cardinals were nice enough to give Roger Clemens his 300th win and 4000th strikeout in the same game. We're a giving bunch.
Sat. June 14th
Went to Sedona, AZ for cousin charlie's wedding. We were just standing around waiting for the thing to start then the sprinklers went off, a good omen to be sure :D too bad I didn't have my camera. I could have 100 bucks in my pocket from america's funniest home videos, but noooo... After the wedding we went to the club house (it was at a country club place thing) and enjoyed some beverages, and the grandkids sat at a table that at the time we didn't know, but had a particularly good view of the pool. Country Club + Pool = Scantily Clad Rich Hot Bihatches. So we had our entertainment while the reception was going on. Along with various alcohol like wines and stuff, they got a keg. The place said that no family had ever finished a keg there before. Heh, they did not know the Rodriguezes then :D We had the mofo floating in like an hour and a half. if that. Should've got 2 : ( There was this old'n there, a relative of the bride I'm guessing, who was like....... hot. she needed to mix in a steak, but still. me and jr were like Hmmm... but then my cousin donald swept in and took my woman. I was not amused. Then later he told the story of the events that night at the hotel.. I was less amused. heh. oh well. better donald than jr or drew. That was pretty much it.
Sun. June 15th
Went to Laughlin, or Ghetto Vegas as I call it. It's like an hour away from vegas but god forbid we go there after I finally turn 21. Me, jr and drew went bumping around on "the strip" and there was nothing so we went back to the hotel. We were just standing there wondering what to do when this chick comes up to us mealing on ice cream and I didn't hear her at the time, but apparently asked andrew if he wanted to go and lick ice cream off her toes and whatnot. And the boy wouldn't go do anything! he just stood there like a deer in headlights. At the time, the girl was ok, not quite like others we'd seen, but the next day we saw her again in the tight little white tank top thing. eep. Andrew done screwed up :D. Later went on a beer run, but by the time we got back, all the old people were asleep so we didn't have anywhere to drink so we had to wait until the next day. bah.
Mon. June 16th
Went to this little recreational place in the casino with pool tables and darts, and andrew and jr were playing darts so I was going to play pool by myself for fun, then this girl comes and asks if I wanted to play her, so sure why not... She reminded me of this girl who worked at garfields, breezy, except thinner and tan. mmmm... So I we played two games. not much talking. pretty much just got a name, Melissa. For some reason i was on, I mean... I just ran the table like I was a hustler or something. Perhaps beating her like a red headed stepchild was not the best way to make acquaintences... so I left. heh. The fam went to the buffet me and jr saw the girl from the night before with the ice cream, wearing the small white thing. eee. She kept looking at me and jr funny like we're stupid. and we are. We figure they're after drew buddy. But he won't have it. wuss :D Later we go back to the rooms to try and consume our bounty from the other night, but old people kept coming back to the room so we couldn't fully enjoy the lord's brew like we should. finally we polished it off and went bumping around. By then drew had joined us, he wasn't at the buffet. When we see the ice cream girl coming down the escalator and we're like "come on man, there she is, go for it" and he doesn't, so instead she just takes a nose dive right in front of us. on purpose, but still. and I'm like dude, help her up. be a kind hearted gentlman to this stranger vying for your attention. he just stood there, deer in headlights again. Dammit man, be a.... man... she proceeded to stay in the general vicinity for a bit, falling down more.... she seemed rather animated, which is not a bad thing. But good buddy drew wouldn't have it. because he likes guys or something, I don't know. The rest of the night there was a few more after andrew, but he wouldn't say anything. at the bowling alley this girl's like trying to get his attention and her friends are trying to get him to talk to her and he just wussed out. come on man. Talking like mr big football stud and then can't even talk to young'ns. Needless to say, me and jr made fun of him the rest of the night, and the rest of the time I was there.
Tues. June 17th
Left ghetto vegas and went back to good ol' gallup. When we were going through arizona we saw a neat little forest fire. some of the fire was like 20 feet off the side of the road and stuff. again, no camera because I'm stupid. bah. When we got back we went to play some basketball, yo. Saw the two young'ns who dubbed me rainbow. they still call me bi. sadly, they're too young to prove them wrong. once they left, we left.
Wed. June 18th
Went to meal lunch at a chinese buffet at the mall. Getting tired of buffets. had too many in Laughlin. Then went around the mall with Jr. and got the tATu cd. I felt like I had comitted treason when I bought it, but oh well. I like the cd. if I was a ghetto beatnick raver dance club rat idiot, I'd probably like it more, but as a guy who likes metal, I like it. I'm sure the lesbian thing has nothing to do with it though :D Kept bumping around the mall. Saw this girl working who lives next door to my grandparents. looking niiiiice. once of very few young'ns there actually older than 14. I think like 17 or maybe 18. I dunno. Then we went to Wal-Mart where I purchased SOCOM: Navy Seals. so in one foul swoop I depleted like half my money. 20 on cd, 55 on game. I had like 150 bucks and now have half. oh well. Socom's good stuff. too bad it's only one player unless you're on the online. If it was 2 player like pooh's Desert storm game, that would be sweet. Later went to park and saw young'ns again ee. well dominique lives in this house actually right next to the park, she just has to jump her fence and she's there. desiree lives like, a house down from the park so they're there alot. thankfully. by this time, I'm pretty much friends with them now so it's fun that way. then the neighborhood kids start playing hide and seek. which in theory is ghetto... and was ghetto.... but the young'ns were playing so I figured why not.

one week until we leave. bittersweet. This had already been more fun/interesting than almost all vacations in the past. must be the quantity of young'ns growing steadily. Tomorrow PappyAj gets here so I have to surrender my room to him, misty and the baby and sleep on my parent's room floor. yay.
After that, i didn't write anything down for some reason. so I can't really give any specific days, but the next week there was these young'ns from Chihuahua, Mexico that went to the park. OMFG. My cousin Donald was talking about how he's going to go find a wife in Chihuahua, that's where my grandma's from. and I figured sure there's hot chicks everywhere if you look in the right spots, but the girls from chihuahua made me and jr. decide we're going to Chihuahua too when we're wanting the wife. heh. omg... and sadly they were like between 13-16 too. must be the water. This one that played basketball with us, who's name I can't remember, I just called her Money because she was on my team and every time she got the ball she'd shoot and make it. She was the only one making anything so hell, called her money. Played basketball with her a few times before I left. good good stuff. what sucks is they're visiting from chihuahua so there's a pretty good chance I'll never see her again. bah. hopefully I will see desiree and dominique next year though. PappyJ can only imagine what a year of maturing will do to them :D Also, me jr and andrew went to denny's a few times just to chill like villains and make fun of people. There's arabs in there too. maybe denny's means something in arabic... like poon or boobies... anyway. Heh, I went to denny's more on the way to and while at new mexico than I have here in the past 2 months. stupid friends. anyway. that's ab00t it. yay fun vacation 2003. Can't wait for next year. pwn. out.
