Where to start.... well if you haven't been on the message board, here's a story. Awhile ago, a little over a month I think, adam went to get his wisdom teeth taken out. And he did and it sucked for him, but the weeks started to pass by and they wouldn't heal over at all, so about 2 weeks ago he went to see the people where he got the wisdom teeth removed and they sent him to a hospital where they were looking at it and baffled or something. They did blood tests and all that stuff, had many doctors coming in and out looking at it, making him feel like some kind of freak of nature. They were asking questions like if he was a gay homofag (not in those words I think) and stuff, so eventually they just told him he may have cancer and that they're doing blood tests to see if he has HIV that could be making him not heal right. Then about a week later he went back up there to discover he indeed had mouth cancer. but not HIV. Dude was shaken and everything, but me and many others were telling him it's soon, it hasn't spread, he can knock it easy. It helped but he said dying was always in the back of his mind. Then about a week later he went for a catscan to see where the cancer was, and as some had said, it was all concentrated in one spot and hadn't spread, so that increased his chances dramatically.
Unfortunately, the surgery he'll have to go through involves splitting his jaw in half and removing 2/3 of his tongue. Afterwards they're going to take skin off his legs and arms to replace the parts of his tongue removed, and he'll have to go through therapy to learn how to talk and swallow with his new tongue. And to add salt to the wound, he's going to have a trache tube to breath out of and a tube to his stomach to eat because tongue's going to swell up like a bladder in a bar. He's going to have tubes coming from him for god knows how long, a few weeks at least, and he's probably going to be staying at the porter house for the "adult" supervision needed for good recovery. Plus mammy porter is a nurse so that doesn't hurt any. And I feel bad because this was his last weekend before being laid up in bed and I fell asleep before we could do anything. poop...
In other news, saw Matrix Revolutions with my bro. bad ass movie if you try to forget the ending. One of the most horrible endings I've ever seen, but the rest was fargin awesome. Especially when the robots finally reached zion and the people were in those big robotic suits. *drooling ensues* I had a grin from ear to ear that whole fight sequence :D :D :D
Well kids, that should be about it. mammy wilson's off the phone so I should go post this. Late
