Summary of Book I read: In a Cabin in a Wood written by Darcie Mc Nally Illustrated by Robin Micheal Koontz. The story is about old man that is an artist painting what he see from the window of his cabon. What he sees is photograper shooting a rabbit. The rabbit begs to be admitted to the cabin. However other animals observe the rabbit begging to come in,and began asking to come in.All the animals in the house create the expected havor, especially the baby possuims,but therabbit is a creative soul and the fetches black paint and brush for the artist who paints the rabbit so he looks like a skunk.The final scene has the old man in the rocking chair holding the rabbit serenly, sorrounded by the mess created by his vistors.
