Summary: Beauty and Beast Beauty's father, caught in a storm, finds shelter in the Beast's palace. As he leaves, he plucks arose to bring back to Beauty, offendong his unseen host, who tells him he must now die. The father begs to be allowed to see his daughters again; the Beast saysthat if one of the men daughters will return to suffer in his palace, he may live. Beauty journeys to the Beasts castle, convinced she will be killed; instead she is made mistress of the enchanted palace, and the Beast asks her to be hiswife she says can he be his friend, and will stay with him forever,but not as his wife, asking only to returns belatedly to the castle, finding the Beast lying near death from distress ather failure to return. Summary of Book I read: In a Cabin in a Wood written by Darcie Mc Nally Illustrated by Robin Micheal Koontz. The story is about old man that is an artist painting what he see from the window of his cabon. What he sees is photograper shooting a rabbit. The rabbit begs to be admitted to the cabin. However other animals observe the rabbit begging to come in,and began asking to come in.All the animals in the house create the expected havor, especially the baby possuims,but therabbit is a creative soul and the fetches black paint and brush for the artist who paints the rabbit so he looks like a skunk.The final scene has the old man in the rocking chair holding the rabbit serenly, sorrounded by the mess created by his vistors.

Summary of book I read: The title of this book is "Sarah Plain and Tall". The main characters are Caleb, Anna, Sarah, and Papa. The story tells about a little boy who nver seen his mother. Caleb wantsto know about his mom, so he's asking his sister questions about his mother.His fathers writes a letter to a mail order bride. She responds back to the letter. This story tales place in Kansas. After Caleb and Anna finds about the mail order bride they start writing her. When Sarah comes she's plain and tall.Caleb and Anna are hoping that Sarah will stay. Summary of book I read: The name of this book is " Black and White". David MCcauley illustratesthis book. This book is about a boy returning home to his parents. There are commuters waiting impatiently, andthey are strange parents indeed. They have Holstien cows thatget out of their fields they are almost impossible to find.David MCcauley once again displays his conceptual genius. This book can be appreciated on many different levels.
