THE REAL SEED STARTER IN THE HOUSE

Didn't quite know where this picture should go: "gardenzcrafts"? "Gardening"? "gardenzkatz"? Generally speaking, any picture with his furry mug, is usually desinated at HIS picture, so guess obviously it belonged here.

For each of the 14 seed-seasons he's graced my husband, Jim and I with his company, Tyler insists on keeping me company while I'm hunkered down in my little "seed-starting/cum/craft-room enclave". He's been my good luck charm. Never once made a lunge for the cart or the seedlings. I think he's just happy to be included!

He's had a rough life, with more medical problems than many cats do in ten lifetimes! So, in our book...he deserves all the doting. Specially, for all the love and comfort he gives us in return.

TYLER AND HIS ANGEL CHORUS

The "angels" that are watching over him are plastic pot angels I made for lawn deocrations at Christmas. Only thing missing, are their gold "wings". Medium guage wire bent in the shape of wings and wound round with gold glitter garland. Attached to a thin tomato stake and pounded in the ground behind the pot angels. They've weathered quite well for the past couple seasons. Only thing is (cause we store them in the shed during the summer) the mice seem to find their spanish moss hairdos a rather comfy place to raise a family during "vacation time"!

TYLER AND HIS ANGEL CHORUS

Hey, I know Jim and I are prejudiced, but...is that a face...or is that a face??? By now, he's so used to having his picture taken and never squirms when his cwazy "Mom" & "Pop" make him wear his Christmas scarf that my Mom had knitted for him before she passed. I think he wears it without a fuss, cause he knows it was from her!

"Hey, wait up!
Pul-eeze! If you pet me, you can go visit with more of Tyler and his friends!"
