HI, ALL! Guess my cat, Tyler, has once again upstaged me! My name is Linda, but most folks in "Gardening and Craft Country" may know me as "gardenz". When not in my garden or at nurseries or craft stores or writing stories, I'm usually on line in some of my favorite gardening forums.

That's me up there, about age 6, hangin out in my brother, Don's, garden, which he dug out from the overgrown patch of weeds behind our apartment building in Brooklyn. Guess the gardening seed was..uh.. "planted" in me then. It wasn't till I moved to New Jersey (where I've lived now for over 25 years) that I had an opportunity to nurture that gardening bug. Thanks to inspiration from my Mom's creativity, love of gardening and respect for nature. Her motto was: "Que Sera, Sera!". Or, "Whatever Will Be, Will Be!" That attitude of learning to make the most of what life's offered... good, bad or otherwise... has been the basis for my method of gardening for these past 20 years. Organically, or "naturally". Doing the least harm. Hopefully.

Adding to the overall gardening experience, is drying and crafting with many of the flowers and herbs, that I nurture in my garden. It all helps keep me centered, happy and sane. (Well, relatively, anyway!) When that fails, chocolate and my husband, Jim, do their best!

What you'll find on the following pages is basically a photo album with comments. Anyone who knows 'gardenz', knows that any "view" from me wouldn't be a real "gardenzview" without a few comments! I also hope to amuse, since humor has been my life raft in choppy seas on many occasions. I hope it helps to uplift you, as well. But, mostly, I hope to connect. Whether it's on a gardening, crafting or just "blathering" level. So, check back periodically, PLEASE! I'll be updating as often as the garden will allow me to spend some time away from it. For now, most of these pics are from last season. Please sign my guestbook. We can't chat here, but maybe we'll bump into each other at one of my "hangouts"!
