In my search for photos, I was fortunate to find this one. My friends who were in the Navy tell me that it was common for Navy personnel to wear fatigues similar to that used in the Army, whenever they were serving on land in a combat zone. Obviously this is just such a situation. Previously, I had written that we Flanagan brothers did not discuss our WW2 experiences after we came home. For that reason, I cannot identify where this was taken.
