2. Philip Adams. His obituary to Eric Butler was one of the most obnoxious and disgusting pieces of "journalism" I have had the misfortune to read. .

3. Mark Leibler. For emulating the Nazi tactics used against the Jews. He printed the membership list of a legal political party which represented one million Australians. Many of whom lost relatives in the fight to liberate the likes of Leibler and his mates in the Israel Lobby from concentration camps. 

Leibler was owner/editor of the disgraced and now defunct Australian-Israeli Review; since renamed the Australian Jewish News.

RUBBERY FIGURES

On 28-04-05 News Limited rejected a claim by columnist Neil Shoebridge in the Australian Financial Review, 26-04-05 which claimed that "News (Limited) is one of the biggest manipulators of circulation figures, particularly for the Australian".

The Audit Bureau of Circulation (ABC) must be a committee of the highest integrity. After all, it's Chairman is Dr Stephen Hollings, who is er.. the same Dr Hollings, strategic development director of advertising at News Limited, and to further ensure it's integrity, the auditors were none other than Ernst and Young. (Watch this space.)

ONE LAW FOR AUSTRALIANS - ANOTHER FOR RUPERT MURDOCH!

The following extract from: PRIVATE EYE Magazine No.1112 London 6-19 Aug. 2004 makes very interesting reading, especially for all Australians who are struggling under an ever growing mountain of taxation. The article was referring to an item in the Sunday Times published in London by Rupert Murdoch.

Quote "It is not clear whether the Sunday Times article was the first in a series of tax avoidance exposés.  If the paper is looking for other examples, a good place to start would be the global media group that is notorious for tax-dodging through a series of subsidiary companies in the Cayman Islands, British Virgin Islands, Bermuda and numerous other tax havens. The company is of course News Corporation, owner of the Sunday Times".    

"When News Corp moved its HQ from Australia to New York in April this year, it was quick to reassure investors that it wouldn't suddenly start paying tax. As finance director David Defog cheerfully explained: "There's no tax on any of the operations of News Corp."  Indeed not. But why not? One for the Insight team, surely". End of article.

During Gulf War I, a contingent of Australian Defence Forces (ADF) were sent to the Gulf. As a patriotic Australian I was so shocked and incensed by the treachery of the loony left hierarchy in the ABC who refused to send family messages to members of the Australian Defence Forces serving there, I sent a cheque to "The Australian Newspaper", (Editor PAUL KELLY, now kicked upstairs) so that a fund could be started to send gifts and personal items to our Defences Forces overseas.

 I received no reply but, when enquires were made at "The Australian", I was assured the cheque got there and was being 'processed'. However, after numerous other calls, I met with a pregnant silence. Not wishing to give up, discreet inquiries were made within the Digger's organisation, and the response more or less implied, - "My God, the "Digger" must not upset the ethnics". And to think Murdoch has the cheek to call it "The Australian"! What patriotism! I have never received any acknowledgement of, nor have I set eyes on the cheque. Bitterly, I thought, what else could one expect from a foreigner who worships at the Temple of Mammon (i.e. New York Zionist bank)?

At that time of conflict, Murdoch's policy obviously took precedence over the comfort and support of our serving troops. Arguably, Murdoch's support for multiculturalism could be considered a threat to our security. 

 Rupert Murdoch has done for ethical journalism what Seňor Solly Trujillo  has done for TELSTRA.

Australian journalists need to be reminded that in Britain Murdoch, the great Lenin lover turned Zionist worshipper to whom they are bowing and forelock tugging, wiped out the Journalists' Union, destroyed Fleet Street and created "Fortress Wapping" - so much for the Digger's love of socialism, or is it Greedism?  

 For reasons best known to him, he gives the impression that he has a monopoly on denigration. Should anyone dare to contradict his (and his owner's) political tunnel vision of the commercial world, his editorials  will stop at nothing to destroy you.

 In the "Lies 'R' Us", Murdoch's pro-war, "Voice of America's" media some of the more "sophisticated" terms used in editorials and articles to denigrate anyone who questions them in any way, are "radical, bigoted, vindictive, infamous, racist, redneck, a member of the Nazi Party, Ku Klux Klan, National Front", etc. To the Murdoch press, whether any of these terms are actually true or not is totally irrelevant. And when the public detects and protests the racist lies, they may then be accused of anti-Semitic proclivities.  

THE THREE STOOGES

As for lodging a complaint with the Australian Press Council, forget it, this outfit is run by members of the Media about which you may be lodging a complaint and should be renamed the Australian Press (Defence) Council. They are almost as "efficient: but not quite, as the Human Rights and Anti-Discrimination Commission (HEROC) or the Audit Bureau of Circulation.  

   Independent Press?

"One night, in 1880, pre-eminent New York journalist John Swinton, outraged his colleagues by offering this reply to a toast which had been made to the independent press:

 "There is no such thing, at this date of the Worlds history, in America, as an independent press. You know it and I know it. There is not one of you who dares to write your honest opinions, and if you did, you know beforehand that it would never appear in print. I am paid weekly for keeping my honest opinion out of     the paper I am connected with. Others of you are paid similar salaries for similar things, and any of you who would be so foolish as to write honest opinions would be out on the streets looking for another job.

 If I allowed my honest opinions to appear in one issue of my paper, before twenty‑four hours my occupation would be gone, "The business of the journalists is to destroy the truth, to lie outright, to pervert, to vilify, to fawn at the feet of mammon, and to sell his country and his race for his daily bread. You know it and I know it, and what folly is this toasting an independent press?
