Memories of Angie
A Photographic Memorial
Built by her Daughter
Danielle (Dani)
This website is a tribute to my mother who passed away at the young age of 35 on November 5,1984. You can see the photographs that I have been able to collect of her. I have very few of them but the ones I do have I treasure and I hope that one day I will be able to locate more of them. As I add more to my collection I will add them to this site. I will also include her children and grand children. Angie was the wife of Gerhard Mcgee who passed away August 7, 1976 a beloved mother to 3 children to Robert, Geary and Danielle. The daughter of Lillian Bennett, Sister to Dennis, Kathleen and Micheal . Her life was brief but she was loved by many and her death was tragic and unexpected to all of us whose lives she did touch. This Memorial is a work in progress. It has been planned for many years but out of respect for my grand mother I decided to wait until the right time to build it. My mother's death was hard on her and I just felt that asking her to go thru all the photos would be too much for her to handle so out of respect I waited. My grand mother went to be with her daughter January 9th , 2008 . My goal here is to honor both women with dignity and honor.First to memorailize my mother and share with my children the fun and loving Angie that I remember. Second to do it in a way that my grand mother would have also enjoyed looking through it. So in essence this is a memorial to both women. I hope you enjoy my memories of Angie , my Mother.
Spend all your time waiting
For that second chance
For a break that would make it okay
As though if some reason
To feel not good enough
And it's hard at the end of the day
I need some distraction
Oh beautiful release
Memory seeps from my veins
Let me be empty
Oh and weightless and maybe
I'll find some peace tonight
