This film was one of the most talked about films of the year. Helen Mirren dida super job portraying the Queen. The Diana footage in the films was snippets from the news around the world and it sort of took you back to 1997. We didn't see much of the actress who portrayed Diana in the film i supposed i would have like to have seen more of her to get the feel of how her "Diana " would have been played. The night that I went to see the film the theater was about half full.I have to admit it was a bit strange seeing Diana up there on the big screen never the less i enjoyed it. The film went on to be nominated for the best costume drama and Helen Mirren won a oscar for her role as Queen Elizabeth II.
