2002 marked the 24th annual Creation Festival and was held June 26th through 29th at the Agape Farm in Mount Union, Pennsylvania. It's quite an experience, let me tell you! It was my first time ever at a Creation festival. I went with two of my friends. It was evident that the Lord was alive and well during those four days - you could feel His presence all around you!
Unfortunately the pictures I got developed came out pretty fuzzy and the coloring is TOTALLY off. I apologize for this! I've included captions so you get the general idea.
The entrance to the Agape Farm. The street sign says "Hal'ujah Hwy."
Our living arrangements! My boss let us borrow his tents to use. It took awhile to put this monstrocity up on Wednesday evening (and then to take it down again Sunday morning)...
This was the field and main stage where the majority of the entertainment came from. There was morning and evening worship services held here, as well as a constant stream of musicians, bands, and speakers. There were large screens set up on either side of the stage so that people in the back (like us) could see better. I only wish that I had tried to weasel my way through all those people to get closer to the bands and stuff.
This trailer caught my eye and I couldn't resist taking a picture of it. It was parked down in the campsite where the church youth groups were set up. I took this picture on Thursday morning, and by Saturday afternoon the banner had faded so much you could barely see the footprints in the upper right corner.
