Cherish Children! June is Children's Awareness Month and June 1st is International Children's Day. Promote peace and understanding of children's needs and uniqueness.
I really didn't want to trouble anyone about my difficulties but I want to thank all of you who have written or sent cards giving your support. I would like to be able to write to each of you individually, but I still get tired quite quickly, so I hope you don't mind a single letter.
I have been overwhelmed by your friendship and good wishes. I'm not quite sure why I deserve all of this, but I consider myself to be so very, very lucky to know such kind and caring people. It does mean an awful lot to me and you will all remain in my heart forever.
The good news is that I have now been referred to the UK's top specialist in London. Hopefully this, combined with some new medications, will help to find a stronger way forward. The bad news is that I will be taking a "break" from things for a while longer. Please know that although you won't see me as often in the Chat Rooms or the Boards, I will still be with you every step of the way in spirit and will be back with you all as soon as possible.
Like me, just keep smiling, laughing and enjoying life to the full for there is always that silver lining waiting inside the cloud!

We don't open our hearts by being a tower of strength. We don't open our
hearts by glossing over things in our head. We open our hearts by feeling
