Latin name: Troides brookiana albescens. Wingspan: about 1517cm. Range: Peninsular Malaysia. Similar-looking subspecies occur in Sumatra, Borneo, the Natuna Islands and Palawan. Habitat: primary forests on the rolling foothills of the Main Range. Food plant: Aristolochia foveolata. Note: Specimen shown here is male. |
