This caterpillar of the Lime Butterfly
is ready to go on to its next stage of development. It
is a fully developed caterpillar (final instar) that is ready to change into
a pupa or chrysalis. It is resting on a half-eaten leaf of my tangerine plant. It will
next find a suitable spot where it is unlikely to be disturbed in order to pupate.
