Before I present my descriptions of websites that will link you to websites relating to educational webpages for parents, teachers, and students, I thought I should tell you a bit about myself.
I am currently going into my second year of teaching after spending my first year as a permanent substitute at an elementary school in Evanston, Illinois. year Early Childhood Education student at Kendall College. While being a permanent substitute I had the pleasure of teaching grades K-5 and also teaching the following specials: gym, library, music, and art. I also substituted in the ESL and special education classrooms. I ended my time at this school by becoming the librarian/media specialist for the last two months of the school year due to the fact that the librarian became very ill and was hospitalized. Much to everyone's joy and relief the librarian did return for the last couple weeks of the school year to finish up some end of the year business.
